I've found that everyone, not just me, has a fear of not knowing what they're talking about.
I'll be completely honest.
I don't know much.
I like to pretend like I do though.
In effort to rid myself of this fear, I try to talk a lot without thinking much of what I'm going to say. Especially in youth group.
Maybe that's why people don't usually say what they think?
Out of fear of being wrong. But wouldn't it be better to feel stupid but be aware than to not know at all?
This weekend there is no stupid question. I know people say that all the time but everyone knows it's just cause they think they're supposed to.
Like I said earlier I usually don't know what I'm talking about, but I think I'm going to let my curiosity get the best of me now. I think it will be easier for me to learn that way.
Let's see how this goes.
I hope everyone has a good weekend.

Hmmm... This is a great blog Hannah, but what are you talking about? Oh well, it's none of my business... But yeah, people normally don't say what they're thinking, because they're afraid of what others will think! It's kind of sad, because like you said, there's a lot to learn from others, especially the ones that don't think they know what they're talking about. A lot of time, they're the only ones who have it figured out. I think you are right... Say what you have to, ask questions, and learn! Honestly, the only stupid question to me, is the one asked, when that particular thing was just explained! Not paying attention and then asking a question gets on my nerves. :) Odd s are, the questions people think will be looked at like they're stupid, a lot of others are wondering themselves!
Good luck with whatever you have going on this weekend... I hope it works out for you! :D
